ENO RIVER ARBORICULTURE

Empowering Tree Owners

Trees are large, sometimes massive, living things that change profoundly through time. They provide numerous environmental and social benefits but can be catastrophic when they fail. Like with any valuable asset, it is sensible to inspect your trees periodically. This is especially true for trees near buildings or where people congregate. When planting a new tree it is important to select one that is appropriate for its intended use and is compatible with the site. Furthermore, nursery practices often produce trees that will develop significant structural defects as they mature. It is best to correct these defects and help a tree develop the form that is natural for its species while it is still young. Such measures facilitate a more visually appealing appearance; lower maintenance costs; and a longer useful life.

Through Eno River Arboriculture I seek to help my clients better understand their trees and empower them to make informed decisions as they balance tree benefits, costs, and risks. I provide clients independent, objective assessments of their trees and develop management recommendations based on tree condition, client priorities and budget, and sound arboriculture principles.
